2016 Olympic swag bag

The final bell has rang on the 2016 Olympics and the USA has won SO many medals and we are SO VERY PROUD of each and every one of them! There were many amazing aerobatic moves and new Olympic records broken that reshaped the history books. Some of the prolific highlights of the Olympics games came from some of the outstanding feats of Simone Biles, Michael Phelps, Katie Ledecky, Allyson Felix, Simone Manuel, Women’s and Men’s Basketball Teams, just to name a few.

But I also want to give a special shout out to the swift feet of Usain Bolt — he was pretty awesome to watch as well!

The USA sure knows how to treat its athletes too because even if you didn’t win a medal but you were a part of the USA Olympic team, you received a Nike sponsored “swag bag” filled with all kinds of Nike products. Listed below are just some of the items in both the men and women’s bag:

Women’s Nike Swag bag contents: sports bras, workout leggings, athletic shoes, footie socks, pair of workout trousers, a watch, a branded duffel bag, etc. Some the contents for man’s swag bag were: long-sleeved pullover shirts, sunglasses, weights, underpants, sandals, shorts, trousers and a passport case.

It goes without saying that there will undoubtedly be new endorsement deals that arise from some of newly crowned Olympians because rumor has it that two or more of them will be featured on “Dancing with the Stars” and spokespersons for Proctor & Gamble many products. I recently read an article about all the Olympic athletics who became instant millionaires after competing in various Olympic events due to a plethora of endorsement deals. I’m betting after this year’s games it won’t be any different!

Can’t wait to see what happens in Tokyo at the summer games in 2020. Wow that sounds so futuristic, like something from the Jetsons cartoon don’t it?!

Until next time my Veteran Fashionistas, as always, stay fashionable!
