Several weeks after the procedure, cooled fat cells begin a process called apoptosis and start to shrink and disappear. The patient begins to naturally and gradually eliminate cooled fat cells, thereby reducing the thickness of the fat layer in targeted areas of the body.

During the procedure, a non-invasive applicator delivers precisely controlled cooling to the treatment area.
