Who: Adults and children are invited to attend a free signing of several local and regional authors during January.

What: On Sunday, January 12 from 2-4 p.m. meet local author Faith McCune as she signs copies of her book Duffy’s World, a memoir/dog owner’s manual, narrated primarily from a dog’s point of view. During the signing meet certified pet therapy dogs from the North County San Diego Chapter of Love on a Leash, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing pet therapy.

On Thursday, January 23, at 6 p.m. meet best selling teen authors, Kiersten White, Shannon Messenger and Natalie Whipple. White is the New York Times best-selling author of the Paranormalcy trilogy, as well as the psychological thriller Mind Games, her newest release. Messenger is the author of the middle grade series Exile, the sequel to Keeper of the Lost Cities. She is also the author of the young adult novel Let the Sky Fall. Whipple is the author of the teen novels Transparent and Blindsided.

On Friday, January 24 at 7 p.m. join us for a special Pajamarama Storytime with children’s author and illustrator Salina Yoon, as she reads aloud from her adorable picture book, Penguin and Pinecone. After the reading, Salina will help kids finger knit a small scarf for their very own Pinecone. Don’t forget to wear your pajamas.
