Now on DVD from 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment comes the phenomenal hit BONES: The Complete Eighth Season.

The series tells the story of FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) and Dr. Temperance “Bones” Brennan (Emily Deschanel). Dr. Brennan works for the Jeffersonian Institute Forensic Sciences Department and working with Agent Booth they solve cases by examining the remains found.

In it’s eighth season, episode one begins with Brennan on the run from the FBI after being framed for murder. The Jeffersonian team is working hard to prove her innocence with “The Future in the Past”. In episode two, Brennan is back in “The Partners in the Divorce”.

In episode three, Booth has to work on the budget as Sweets gets another partner in “The Gunk in the Garage”. That’s followed by “The Tiger in the Tale”, “Method to the Madness”, “The Patriot in Purgatory”, “The Bod in the Pod” and “The But in the Joke”. In the latter episode Booth decides to try being a stand up comic in order to find a suspect!

With more episodes like “The Ghost in the Machine”, “The Diamond in the Rough”, “The Archaeologist in the Cocoon” and “The Corpse on the Canopy” fears return as everyone believes Christopher Pelant is looking for revenge!

As the season winds down with “The Twist in the Plot”, “The Doll in the Derby”, “The Shot in the Dark”, “A Friend in Need” and “The Fact in the Fiction” Brennan embraces time travel which totally goes against what Booth believes about a murder investigation.

There is “The Survivor in the Soap”, “The Doom in the Gloom”, “The Blood from the Stone”, “The Maiden in the Mushrooms”, “The Party in the Pants” and “The Pathos in the Pathogens” which leads to the seasons’ finale of “The Secret in the Siege”.

Once again Brennan and Booth deal with Christopher Pelant who might be linked to murders that are close to Booth!

The series itself is created by Hart Hanson who has taken forensic anthropologist Kathy Reich’s novel writings to put the show together. Already starting its ninth season, BONES is an undisputed hit.

With amazing chemistry between Deschanel and Boreanaz, it is clear how this series has lasted so long with a fan following that is amazing. Having been at Comic Con this year I experienced the frenzy of the show’s fans when these two actors showed up for the panel!

The DVD includes deleted scenes, a gag reel, commentary on selected episodes, Dying to Know: Bones Answers Your Questions, Bare Bones: Total Fandom-onium so there is definitely something for everyone who loves the show.

With all new episodes on Fox Mondays this DVD collection will catch you up on your favorite stories and characters. From 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment it’s BONES: THE COMPLETE EIGHTH SEASON!
