Day two of Comic Con 2012 has started off with a bite! Beginning with the first panel of TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN Pt. 2, the cast of Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were joined by author Stephanie Meyers for fans at this years final panel. Talking about the bittersweet ending to their journey together, they were joined by Nikki Reed, Kellan Lutz, Ashley Green, Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser and Jackson Rathbone to say good-bye to fans for the last time.

As an added bonus, fans were treated to the first 10 minutes of Bella opening her vampire eyes for the first time. The cheers were deafening as scene after scene rolled by leaving fans “awww”ing when cut just before Bella meets her baby daughter! But Meyers wasn’t finished yet, as the cast left the stage she asked fans for a moment more of there time by offering them seven minutes of her new book to film THE HOST. Thrilled isn’t a big enough word sometimes!

After the vampires left the building, Hall H was treated to Tim Burton’s newest stop capture animated film FRANKENWEENIE. This film is about a boy who looses his best friend who is a dog and does what he must to bring him back with consequences! Burton amused the audience as fans dressed as many of his characters waited in line to ask questions. From The Corpse Bride to Alice there were costumes galore much to Burton’s delight.

The next panel, hosted by AMC’s Chris Hardwicke, was OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL directed by Sam Raimi and stars James Franco. Franco plays the wizard before Dorothy ever met him! Also starring Michelle Williams and Mila Kunis, the story is based on a collection of works by the author Baum himself.

Following that panel was Jackie Chan talking about his upcoming film CHINESE 12 ZODIAC in which he claims this is his last big action film. He tells the sad crowd that its time for him to do more serious work but he still is training others to work in the field of martial arts and martial art films.

Of course, not to be outdone by vampires, Sylvester Stallone brought out THE EXPENDABLES 2 and his crew including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Terry Crews, Randy Couture and Dolph Lundgren. The guys were animated, full of fun and couldn’t wait to show three separate trailers for the film. There was plenty of sparring between Arnold and Sly as they talked about how they met and what they hoped to do more of in the future. Arnold also received the INK POT award.

The evening slowed down with the final three Independent Films BRANDED, CRAVE and COLDWATER. Psychological thrillers, mystery’s and stories that the directors promise will be different from anything audiences have seen before.

That ends day one of Comic Con 2012. Tomorrow the day is again long but will have some fan favorites such as BIG BANG THEORY, GAME OF THRONES, WALKING DEAD along with a look at LOOPER, TOTAL RECALL and ELYSIUM.
