One of the best places to watch the sunrise on Easter morning, March 31, is at the Tramway’s Mountain Station, at an elevation of 8,516 feet.

Pastor Sneed, will deliver a sermon entitled “Love Activates His Grace” and “Voices of Song” a gospel group, both from the Rebirth Temple of Faith, will sing a melody of hymns. The first car up will be at 5am. The program begins at 5:45am. Reduced Tram fares will be in effect until 7:30am. Round-trip fare will be $15 for adults and seniors and $12 for children ages 3-12.

Immediately following the program breakfast will be served in Pines Café, included is scrambled eggs, French Toast, Potatoes O’Brien, fresh fruit, and an assortment of breakfast breads or muffin. A choice of breakfast meats and a small fountain beverage or coffee/tea will be offered. Ride ‘n’ Breakfast will be available until 7:30am. The cost of the combination, including round-trip Tram fare will be $23.95 for adults and $16.95 for children ages 3-12. Breakfast will be served a la carte until 10am.

Easter dinner will be available from 11am until 8:30pm in Pines Café, a cafeteria-style restaurant. The menu includes a field of greens salad, roasted potato and seasonal vegetables. A choice of roasted breast of turkey, cheese ravioli with mushrooms, roasted chicken or root beer glazed ham will be offered. Dinner roll and small fountain beverage or coffee/tea are included. Cost of the combination will be $36 for adults and $23.50 for children ages 3-12. Reservations are not taken.

The Tramway runs at least every half-hour with the last car up at 8pm and the last car down at 9:45 pm. Discounted Twilight Tickets are available for purchase from 4pm.
