Coming to DVD on September 25th from 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment is FAMILY GUY Vol. 10 This 14 episode three-disc set is a must have for everyone who loves family guy.
The DVD contains the episodes of Peter getting a new kidney, Lois becomes a boxing champ, and Chris finds a new hobby. Also, Brian and Stewie unravel the mysteries of the universe to save it!
FAMILY GUY is created by Seth MacFarlane who came up with the hysterically dysfunctional Griffins family. Along with Dad Peter, Mom Lois and kids Meg, Chris and Stewie, and who can forget the loveable dog Brian. Living in Quahog, Rhode Island, MacFarlane finds humor in every bit of their lives.
After a three-year run FAMILY GUY was actually cancelled but a resurgence of fans and interest brought the show back in 2004. FAMILY GUY has been nominated and won Emmy and Annie Awards for Outstanding Comedy Series.
MacFarlane himself does three of the show’s voices: Peter, Brian and Stewie Griffin and I love it. He also does the voices of Glenn Quagmire, Tom Tucker, and Carter Pewterschmidt. Alex Borstein is the voice of Lois. Seth Green is Chris Griffin and Mila Kunis is the voice of Meg.
FINAL WORD: The bluray DVD also contains commentary for “Halloween On Spooner Street”, “Brian Writes A Bestseller”, “Road to the North Pole” and “New Kidney in Town”. It also contains deleted scenes, Adam West’s star ceremony and so much more.
I am a huge FAMILY GUY fan and mainly because I adore Stewie. The whole family hysterical but Stewie has my heart. This is just a fantastic season and just begs for a FAMILY GUY night in front of the television with your own family. Pop the popcorn, grab the drinks, fluff the couch cushions and put your feet up for a night of laughs.
TUBS OF POPCORN: I give FAMILY GUY Vol. 10 four tubs of popcorn out of five. I would give it a five but I don’t want MacFarlane getting wind of it and getting a big head! There just isn’t anything to not like about this show, unless of course a sense of humor isn’t something you have or your funny bone has been stolen (I’d check with Brian on that one).
Of course not everything FAMILY GUY does is suitable for all ages so be aware of that in advance.
In the end – we all love the FAMILY GUYs!
