It’s back!! From Entertainment One and Miramax is the next season of entertainment from Executive Producer Robert Rodriguez on stunning Bluray with “From Dusk Till Dawn: The Complete Season Two.”

It has been three months and now Santanico is not finished with the Nine Lords. Richie (Zane Holtz) has fakes the death of himself and Seth (D.J. Cotrona). Kate (Madison Davenport) is also trying to find a way to save Scott (Brandon Soo Hoo) and has befriended a teen named Rafa. Everyone else is busy with their own plans it seems.

Lord Malvado is not happy with what has been going on and confronts Narcisco. The only option he has is to conjure up the Regulator (Danny Trejo), a ancient bounty hunter who is told to find Santanico!

Carlos (Wilmer Valderrama) walks in on Malvado who wants to know about the stolen bonds. Narcisco reaches out to Professor Tanner to discover what is written on the ancient bonds only to find the Savini codex. In the market, Seth and Kate are spotted by the Regulator and if it wasn’t for Rafa their capture would have been assured.

Santanico is hot on Malvado’s trail. That isn’t the worst of it as Santanico stops Carlos from turning a young woman named Paloma. When a shooting occurs there is only time for Santanico to run. Scott is having trouble controlling the culebra part of himself which causes trouble that he might not recover from.

Kate is feeling betrayed joining with Gonzalez (Jesse Garcia) when Scott runs away. The Regulator has found Santanico and Carlos but it doesn’t stop Geckos from finding Malvado’s hideout. After having visions about the markings on the bodies he finds, Gonzalez find case files that lead them to a mansion in the woods. Owned by Celestino Occulto, Malvado and the Regulator arrive only to take what they want, make deals and cause mayhem.

The Regulator now comes face to face with Eddie and Seth does what he must but it might not be enough. Richie and Santanico tell Sonja of their own little secret.

All of this comes down to Malvado using everyone to get the answers to the ancient key. All along the Geckos have a plan of their own and they have no problem taking out anyone who gets in their way…

… which is what happens when you live dusk till dawn!

Cotrona as Seth is a charming badass who doesn’t seem to have a problem jumping in the middle of anything. Cotrona is intense but then again I would be to if I had to deal with brother Richie. I enjoy watching this character figure out what needs to be done and the fastest way to do it and Cotrona has the right look and attitude to do just that.

Holtz as Richie is having a difficult time dealing with a force he can’t control. That’s causing more problems because he knows that whatever the evil is – it’s not going to go away anytime soon. Holtz gives his character the same amount of intensity as Cotrona which is why these two actors pull off their respective roles so darn well.

Davenport as Kate is a young woman who has the need to save everyone around her. Saving her father was the first and now it seems she wants to save Seth. Trying to deal with all those who want to just end their lives, Kate looks for an answer that will stop it all.

Hoo as Scott turns out to be quite the little tough guy. Valderrama gets to be the enforcer Carlos but that isn’t his real deal. What he is doing is something deeper and darker than anyone knows. Busey as Professor Tanner tries to assist Ranger Gonzalez with the murders that are happening all around them. Garcia as Gonzalez always has such a tough look on his face and that may be because he wants revenge for those he couldn’t stop from being killed.

Other cast include: Robert Patrick as Pastor Jacob Fuller and Don Johnson as Earl McGraw.

TUBS OF POPCORN: I give “From Dusk Till Dawn: The Complete Season Two” four tubs of popcorn out of five. I have to say that this show is one of those guilty pleasures I don’t mind bragging about. This is a spin off from the Robert Rodriguez’s film franchise From Dusk Till Dawn keeping the characters of Seth and Richie still in their beast bad boy modes.

I really enjoy the complex storytelling that weaves in and out in such a way that you can’t turn away for a second or something will be missed. Nothing ruins a good marathon watching more than having to his the rewind button because I turned my head for a second! That’s what makes this series filled with supernatural tales and complex characters such a winner.

The DVD includes the episodes Opening Night, In a Dark Time, Attack of the 50 ft. Sex Machine, The Best Little Horror House in Texas, Bondage, Bizarre Tales, Bring Me the Head of Santanico Pandemonium, The Last Temptation of Richard Gecko, There Will Be Blood, and Santa Sangre.

The Bonus Features include Audio Commentary with Director Robert Rodriguez, Cast and Crew, Inside the Episode (1-10), 2015 New York Comic Con Panel Discussion, Featurettes for: Overview, Pulp Origins, Mythology, The Talent, Costumes & Makeup, Robert, Effects & Stunts, Blowing up the Titty Twister, Danny Trejo: The Regulator, Jacknife Jeds, Eat About It, Culebras 101, Demo Lovato and Jake Busey.

In the end — it is intense waiting for the dawn!
