the Expo will be Rockin’ with Inspiration,
Education and Entertainment at the
HEAD TO TOE WOMEN’S EXPO

Southern California’s
premiere women’s show at
the Del Mar Fairgrounds
Saturday, March 17 and Sunday, March 18

Stop by the offices of The Military Press on Friday, March 16 for your chance to win a free ticket to the expo, like The Veteran Fashionista on facebook and follow me on twitter for your chance to win!  Tickets will be distributed on a first come first serve basis, and I’m sure they won’t last long!!

The fun begins at the Expo on Saturday with exhibits featuring all the luxuries that gals love — apparel, jewelry, handbags, makeup and skin-care products; spa services; health and fitness products; gourmet foods; and designer items and services for the home — plus a fashion show, chef seminars and a baby shower for moms-to-be.

New to the event is the Girls on the Go 10K/ 5K Run / Walk giving gals the opportunity to literally run wild! On Sunday morning, March 18, “Girls on the Go 10K/5k Run/Walk” will raise funds for the San Diego Office of Education Everyone a Reader Volunteer Program.

This is an extraordinary event not to be missed. Race registration is at www.girlsonthegorun.com.  Early pre-race registration fees: 5k run or walk is $30, 10k run is $50 and 1 mile family fun walk/run is $15. All participants receive race t-shirt. The expo is complimentary for Girls on the Go participants.

A special sweet feature at the spring show is a chocolate party teaser compliments of the Hot Chocolate 15k/5k. Samples of Ghirardelli double chocolate cocoa, dark chocolate fondue with pretzels and marshmallows, and various types of Ghirardelli squares.

The course begins at the Del Mar Fairgrounds and heads up to the Pacific Coast where the surf meets the turf. New to the run, is a beautiful Girls on the Go medal that is awarded to all 10k/5k participants as they cross the finish line. Lively music and festive atmosphere that includes mini massages and a wine tasting are part of the celebratory finish line.

First-place winners in each age division snag a SPA CERTIFICATE courtesy of eLiveLife.com  All participants are up for door prizes and complimentary admission for themselves and two friends to the Expo. For more details about the race and registration, visit girlsonthegorun.com.

There will be plenty of activities for the whole family, including speakers and presentations, Baby Shower on Saturday, Fashion Show, Free Nail Pampering and Complimentary Spa Certificates!

The first 100 women each day will receive a complimentary gift bag that includes a spa certificate from eLiveLife.com for the therapeutic massage, beauty care or holistic health treatment of their choice. Powerful incentive to deploy that alarm clock at an ungodly hour.

The popular Head to Toe Women’s Expo — ninth year — is the creation of San Diegans Rosemarie Gibson and Debbie Adelman.
