Are you kidding? On DVD from SHOUT! Factory on sale at Wal-Mart is HEY ARNOLD! The Complete Series.

Arnold is a kid who lives in the big city with his grandparents Phil and Gertrude. They manage the busy Sunset Arms boarding house in Hillwood but the roof belongs to Arnold. He keeps his menagerie including a pet pig and an amazing group of friends.

Gerald, Eugene, Harold and Helga, who has a crush on Arnold, find adventure where ever they can. Arnold is a dreamer and is always looking to do what’s right.

HEY ARNOLD! is created by Craig Bartlett who also worked on Pee-wee’s Playhouse in 1987. Creating claymation characters named Penny and Arnold, he would team up years later with the writers of RUGRATS and together they would bring Arnold to life!

Drawing influence from his own childhood, Bartlett says, “A lot of the characters are an amalgam of people I knew when I was a kid.” The series would air on Nickelodeon from 1996 to 2004 receiving rave reviews over its eight year run.

Cast voices includes: Toran Caudell as Arnold, Francesca Smith as Helga, Jamil Smith as Gerald, Anndi McAfee as Phoebe, Justin Shenkarow as Harold, Christopher Walberg as Stinky, Sam Gifaldi as Sid, Olivia Hack as Rhonda, Dan Castellaneta as Grandpa Phil and Tress MacNeille as Grandma Gertie.

Of course I am giving HEY ARNOLD! The Complete Series five tubs of popcorn out of five. This is seriously the best way to watch this animated series. I mean a day when the family wants to be together and laugh – this is it.

The DVD contains all 99 episodes totaling 38 hours of pure fun. Oh don’t get me wrong, the series is so well written that life lessons are tucked in there as well. Friendship, family, loyalties and being the best person possible with humor and brilliant animation – what more could anyone want?

Nickelodeon is the number one brand of quality entertainment for kids and they are in their 35th year seen in over 100 million households. SHOUT! Factory is an amazing media company that brings DVD and Bluray to fans of classic films, television series, animation and comedy. For more of what they have to offer go to
