Join us for this year’s Kidical Mass event, happening Sunday, May 6th at 9:00 a.m. in Liberty Station. Kidical Mass is a community event that promotes family friendly riding, teaches children and parents about bicycle safety skills, provides a ride to practice bicycle safety, raises community awareness about kids on bikes and is great way to have fun!

The Kidical Mass ride will be a two-mile, slow-paced, family ride around Liberty Station.  We will leave at 9:30 a.m., circle around Liberty Station and return to Moment Cycle Sport.

After the ride kids can also decorate their helmets, receive free safety tips trading cards , brightly decorate their bike or gear, get a mini tune up and enter to win one of our great raffle prizes! There will also be complementary bagels, fruit, juice and coffee to help participants refuel after the ride.

Adherence to all safety and traffic laws will be practiced during the ride.  Any participant 18 years and younger is required by law to wear a helmet. We appreciate parents who model this behavior by wearing helmets too.

Kidical Mass happens just in time to help families rally to ride for Bike to School Day on Wednesday, May 9th. Join hundreds of other families throughout San Diego County on May 9th by opting for a two-wheeled commute to school. It’s a great way to keep your kids fit and save money on gas!
