Coming to EPIX at 10 p.m. June 26 is the lovable Queen of Mean with “Lisa Lampanelli: Back to the Drawing Board.”

Showcasing comedy, EPIX brings the indelicate stand-up of Lampanelli in an hour-long special as part of the new “Original Comedy Events.” This is her fifth stand-up special continuing to be a self proclaimed “equal opportunity offender,” and this special proves she stands behind her word!

Lampanelli has risen up the comedy ladder and is a Grammy nominee who began in 2002 as the only female comedian invited to the “Chevy Chase NY Friars Club Roast” on Comedy Central. The “Queen of the Roasts” would go after Pamela Anderson, Jeff Foxworthy, William Shatner, Flava Flav, David Hasselhoff and Donald Trump.

Comedy isn’t her only forte, as Lampanelli has also made it to the silver screen in films such as “Not Fade Away,” “Larry the Cable Guy,” “DELTA Farce,” “The Aristocrats” and “Drillbit Taylor.”

Television gets a piece of the Queen as well as Lampanelli participated in the fifth season of “Celebrity Apprentice” winning more than $130,000 for her charity, Gay Men’s Health Crisis. She is also a series regular on CMT’s animated show “Bounty Hunters.”

EPIX is a premium movie and original programming service that brings the latest movie released along with classic films and original documentaries and original music and comedy events. To discover more of what EPIX has to offer please visit

TUBS OF POPCORN: I give “Lisa Lampanelli: Back to the Drawing Board” four tubs of popcorn out of five. I have to say I am one of those comedy connoisseurs that likes my funny a little on the daring side. Lampanelli doesn’t have a problem putting it all out there in such a colorful way there is no room for a gray area!

She hits and hits hard bringing comedy straight home. There are jaw dropping moments that are followed by laughs. The audience gets into it completely which makes me laugh even harder.

Dressed to kill with laughter, Lampanelli is sleek and with a new hair-do and a sharper wit, gather the gang together for a Friday night laugh fest!

In the end – she’s bringing out the Lampanelli guns!
