On DVD this week from SHOUT! Kids Factory and Hasbro Studios is a return to the best place to be a cute animal with “Littlest Pet Shop: Pet Tales.”

Penny Ling brings a story to the pets that starts the round of tales for the pets. Tess has a television show and Penny Ling can not believe her reaction when they meet. Blythe tries to discover what made the television host react that way. Brittany and Whitney have a fall out because of a test but it is a pair of koalas that have the pet shop in chaos.

Blythe, Zoe and Minka are once again dealing with the Biskit twins when they learn Josh is with them. To keep them even busier Goldy is in trouble and the pets have a giant alligator friend who wants to help. Of course leave it to the Littlest Pets to help a shy peacock who needs a little help in making his first outing at the agricultural gardens.

“Littlest Pet Shop: Pet Tales”! has some great vocal talent including Ashleigh Ball as Blythe, Michael Kopsa as Roger Baxter, Kathleen Barr as Mrs. Anna Twombly. The Littlest Pet Shop has been created and developed by Tim Cahill and Julie McNally-Cahill.

SHOUT! Factory brings the best to fans offering up feature films, classic television series, animation and specials. For more of what they have to offer go to www.shoutfactory.com.

Hasbro Studios is an iconic brand with some of the best in animation and family programming with “My Little Pony” and “Littlest Pet Shop.” Since its formation in 2009, Hasbro Studios has received seven Daytime Emmy’s.

TUBS OF POPCORN: I give “Littlest Pet Shop: Pet Tales” four tubs of popcorn out of five. I have to say that every time my granddaughter hears the introduction theme song her eyes light up. She loves each of the pets and their voices along with such vivid animation. That’s important because it keeps the attention of children and good for parents who want their children to enjoy but at the same time learn.

“Littlest Pet Shop” continues to bring such values as loyalty, friendship, understanding, diversity and wrap it all up in the cutest furry bundles of love and laughter. That is what makes this series of stories so successful and continues to be with each and every episode.

The DVD includes the episodes: So Interesting, What’s So Scary About the Jungle? Everything!, Feud for Thought, Fish Out of Water, Proud as a…Peakcock?

In the end — its time to gather around for the best stories!
