April 25,2012, Fountain Valley, Ca. – Senior Comedy Afternoons is putting on a MoMMA-Thon! What’s that you say..? It’s a show that will be all about Mom’s, Mama’s, Mother’s, Mummies, Mommies, Grandma’s, anyway you say it our comedians will all be talking about motherhood, their moms, and mothering journeys. Along with that… they’ll be music about motherhood, quotes regarding motherhood, and many more surprises in addition to our regular Birthday Celebrations and a great afternoon that includes lunch.

Our show features 4 comediennes who are also mothers and grandmothers!
Comedienne Cindy Burns is our Anti-Aging Mom and has performed on “The Tonight Show” and been on “Oprah” and produces and performs with “O.C’S Funniest Housewives”, along with comedienne Julie Kidd, our “Dysfunctional Mom” is the author of “Mamalogue”, and has also been on “The View” and been written up in “Good Housekeeping”. Wendy Hammers, our “Optimistic Mom” has been on many TV shows including “Curb Your Enthusiasm”, “The Sopranos”, “Oprah” and “Craig Ferguson” and is a contributing author to the “Huffington Post.” Karen Robertson our “Motivating Mom” is a retired teacher and success coach in addition to her life as a stand-up comic and the author of “Raising Kids Right!”. These women are funny and smart! They’ll hold nothing back!

The show will take place at Tapas Restaurant, Flavors of Spain, Restaurant and Nightclub in Newport Beach.  The cost for the afternoon is an all- inclusive price @ $45 for lunch, show, tax and tip !
