Coming to DVD from SHOUT! Factory and Saban Brands are the green guys from the sewers who are once again taking on the bad guys with NINJA TURTLES: The Next Mutation, Vol. 1.

This film tells the story of Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo – four genetically altered mutant turtles that are not average. In fact they have grown to human size!

Raised by Master Splinter these extraordinary turtles have ninja powers as they turn into crime fighters for the city. One of there biggest threats is Shredder, normally that might be enough but not for the Turtles – they have a new foe in the Dragon Skull. Offering a little help, whether they like it or not, is lady ninja turtle Venus DeMilo.

There back, bad and ready for action!

FINAL WORD: It is so much fun to revisit the Ninja Turtles. For parents who have kids in there 20s and 30s just saying Ninja Turtles will invoke a response. Telling them that the Ninja Turtles have a new DVD might invoke a bigger response and one that sounds vaguely familiar.

The action is so prevalent with vivid color in the animation and fun. This two DVD set has the first 13 episodes. Seriously, if you are a fan of the series or know someone who is – this is exactly the DVD to own!

SHOUT! Factory is an amazing company that preserves and revitalizes the very best of pop culture. This extends to feature films, classics, animation, television series and music and do it with awesome packaging that viewers have come to love. Saban Brands was formed in 2010 and applies a strategic transmedia management approach to enhancing brands for promotion.

TUBS OF POPCORN: I give NINJA TURTLES: The Next Mutation Vol. 1 three and a half tubs of popcorn out of five. This is a huge walk down memory lane and fantastic that its back for grandparents, kids and now the grandkids to get into together.

In the end – COWABUNGA!
