For mothers who want to stay fit and enjoy quality time with their babies, a jogging stroller is a recommended device . Preparing for this fun and healthy activity requires a bit of planning taking into account your current fitness level, the exercises you”ll be performing, the baby”s health, and the location where the activity will occur.
The following are guidelines to consider :
1. Ask your health practitioner if this activity is suited for you and your baby. A rest period of 6 to 8 weeks is suggested after childbirth. No strenuous activity should be performed in this period and babies 6 months old and below are considered delicate.
2. Purchase a high quality jogging push chair that may fit the activity you am considering. For safety reasons, it”s much better to get a durable stroller with trustworthy straps.
3. Consider the route, distance, and time you”ll be spending to complete the activity. It may include a leisure walk at the local park, jogging at path walks or hiking off road. The choice will be set by your fitness level and safety worries. Pace yourself by walking down the street and going around the block then gradually raise your activity at a level your ok with. Always choose wisely travelled routes with plenty of
folk.
4. Ensure both you and your baby are ready each time you go for an amble. Never go out jogging if you”re still drowsy or if the baby isn”t well. Empty your bladder and bowel before your activity to avoid annoyance. Inspect the push-chair, the straps, and brakes, bring along must haves like blankets, suntan lotion, sun shades, hat, baby cap, snacks, milk and water. Make sure to secure your home before leaving. Check if your baby is cosy and strapped correctly.
5. When running with a jogging push-chair, take extra precaution not to hit the stroller or the rear wheels with your feet. You could simply get off-balanced and hurt yourself and the baby. Have a correct running posture with your chest raised, firm stomach, arms parallel to the ground with hands gripping the handle forcefully. Take a relaxed pacce with short steps.
6. As a safety measure, never wear phones so that you can be entirely mindful of everything around you. Remain alert and be mistrusting of autos and animals. When checking on the baby, first move aside, stop and lock the brakes each time. Never leave the baby neglected. Safety should be number one concern.
