Brit Marling, winner of the 2011 San Diego Film Critic Society’s award for Best Actress for her work in ANOTHER EARTH, is lending her talents again to her new film with Fox Searchlight and SOUND OF MY VOICE.

In SOUND OF MY VOICE, Peter (Christopher Denham) and Lorna (Nicole Vicius) a couple and documentary filmmaking team, infiltrate a mysterious group led by an enigmatic young woman named Maggie (Brit Marling). Intent on exposing her as a charlatan and freeing the followers from her grip, Peter and Loma start to question their objective and each other as they unravel the secrets of Maggie’s underworld.

Marling, a graduate of Georgetown University with a degree in economics, began work co-writing with director Mike Cahill for a documentary “Boxers and Ballerinas”. In 2011 Marling joined up with Cahill again for the stunning film ANOTHER EARTH. Both of these films were entered at Sundance and ANOTHER EARTH won the Alfred P. Sloan award for outstanding film with science, technology and math as a major theme of the film.

If ANOTHER EARTH is any indication of the thought process of this talented this writer and producer then SOUND OF MY VOICE will be nothing less than stellar.

Go to to see the first 12 minutes of the film and experience the interactive pieces that lead you to clues for the film. You could spend hours reading and exploring (which personally I did) and it only succeeds in wetting your appetite for more!

THIS, my friends, is going to be good!
