Available on DVD this week from 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment comes the beloved animated “Strawberry Shortcake: Berry Best in Show.”

Join Strawberry Shortcake and some new furry friends in these delightful “tails” about being yourself and encouraging others to do the same. During his road trip to find homes for his orphan puppies, Huckleberry Pie and his four-legged crew get stranded in Berry Bitty City.

Luckily, Strawberry and her berry best pals decide to help out with the strays in “A Boy and His Dogs.”

Blueberry Muffin and Huck become “Partners in Crime” when they try to write a mystery story together… with surprising results. And the fur is sure to fly when the girls try to help Huck start a dog shelter in “The Mystery of the Disappearing Dog Show.”

It’s a howling good time with sweet doggy delights for everyone!

TUBS OF POPCORN: I give “Strawberry Shortcake: Berry Best in Show” four tubs of popcorn out of five. O.K., it is clear that I am a fan of this animated series and it’s really due to my daughters when they were younger. There were several animated series then that were geared toward my sons, but very few that made an impact like Strawberry Shortcake did.

That was important then and even more so now. This week a granddaughter came into our family and I am excited for her to be introduced to the gang! There are so many fantastic reasons from amazing animation to stories about friendship, loyalty, love, mystery, fun and adventure.

All of those are pretty awesome reasons to add “Strawberry Shortcake: Berry Best in Show” to the family library. Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment continues to bring amazing films that can be added to the family library. To find more of what they have to offer visit www.foxconnect.com.

Not only does the DVD contain anywhere Digital HD with streaming to computers, tablets and smartphones with its 66 minutes of fun, it also includes a special feature of printable coloring pages.

In case you might not know, Strawberry Shortcake actually turns 35 this year! That is an amazing accomplishment and fans are thrilled.

In the end — the fur of fun will fly!
