Coming to DVD from Hasbro Studios and SHOUT! Factory Kids comes the next series of fun with THE ADVENTURES OF CHUCK & FRIENDS: Rev Your Engines.
Chuck and his friends are back with stories of friendship, loyalty and the creativities each truck shares. The first is Boomer the Snowplow as Boomer the fire truck wants to be a snow plow. His friends laugh at first but Chuck realizes giving his friends what they truly want is special for the holidays!
In Bridging the Gap Boomer, Digger and Handy are at a ravine with Chuck trying to decide the best solution to the problem. Coming together they try and try again and learn something a bout science at the same time.
Chuck’s brother Rally is in town and he’s going to teach all the pals racing in Brother Borrowing. Rally is supportive and encouraging but Chuck is starting to feel a pinch of jealousy when Biggs gets a lot of Rally’s time.
Those are only a few of the ten episodes so prepare to spend some quality time with your four-wheeled friends!
FINAL WORD: Coming in at 110 minutes I have to say it sure doesn’t feel like it. It is easy to get drawn in by Chuck and his friends. Each has their own distinctive character with relationships that are deeply set in a wheel-based friendship.
The DVD includes the episodes: Boomer the Snowplow, Bridging the Gap, Brother Borrowing, Chuck in Charge, Did you Hear?, Little Big Chuck, Sitter Shenanigans, Special Delivery, Speed Indeed and The Bully.

TUBS OF POPCORN: I give THE ADVENTURES OF CHUCK & FRIENDS: Rev Your Engines five tubs of popcorn out of five. I have come to enjoy this particular series because of my grandson first of all and second, the stories of friendship are so sweet.
The animation is amazingly well done and the songs are quite catchy for younger kids to enjoy. In fact, the storylines are geared toward kids and very relatable which, to me, is really important for family watching.
In the end – it’s time to rev your engine!
