Soon to be released on DVD from Marvel and Shout Factory comes six episodes of “The Superhero Squad Show: The Infinity Gauntlet”.

In the universe there is one thing that all bad guys want, The Infinity Gauntlet! Whoever wears the device has the power to rule the cosmos. It takes bad to the bone Thanos to acquire each of the gems needed to give the Gauntlet its full power.

That’s where the Superhero Squad comes in. It takes the powers of Iron Man, the Hulk, Thor, Wolverine, Falcon and the Scarlett Witch to challenge Thanos!

FINAL WORD: From Shout Factor comes a DVD filled with action, adventure, and guest talent voices such as Michael Dorn from “Star Trek: The Next Generation”, Mark Hamill from “Star Wars” plays Red Skull, Katee Sackhoff of “Battlestar Galactica” and George Takei – the original Mr. Sulu from STAR TREK as Galactus.

The six episodes include: “Fate of Destiny!”, “The Ballad of Beta Bill!”, “Days, Nights, and Weekends of Future Past!”, “This Man Thing! This Monster!”, “Planet Hulk!” and finally “1602!”.

The talent behind the animated voices are: Tara Strong as Invisible Woman, Grey DeLisle as Black Widow, Charles Adler as Dr. Doom, Travis Willingham as Hulk, Mikey Kelley as Silver Surfer, David Boat as Thor, Antony Del Rio as Reptil, Jason Marsden as Nova, Jane Lynch as Nebula, Jim Parsons as Hercules, Jim Parsons as Nightmare, Steve Blum as Wolverine, Alimi Ballard as Falcon, Jim Cummings as Thanos, Josh Keaton as Spider-Man, Tom Kenny as Iron Man, Maurice LaMarche as Magneto, Scott Menville as Quicksilver and Cree Summer as She-Hulk.

TUBS OF POPCORN: I give “The Superhero Squad Show: The Infinity Gauntlet” three tubs of popcorn out of five. This is an ingenious show filled with something for everyone. There is comedy, slapstick humor, creatures, and great animation of the characters. This is definitely a DVD kids and kids-at-heart will watch over and over again.

This is the second season being offered by Marvel and Shout Factory, which obviously knows its audience. Putting an intelligent story line together and taking it story by story is a fantastic way to offer viewers a chance to know their heroes.

In the end – it’s all up to the Superhero Squad and time to HERO UP!
