Coming to DVD September 2nd from SHOUT! Factory and Hasbro Studios comes an adventure in classic animation with TRANSFORMERS: Beast Machines.

This series tells the story of the Maximals – let by Optimus Prime along with Cheetor and Rattrap. Immediately they discover that something is terribly wrong with them and Cybertron.

Infected – each of the Transformers must go through the Spark to change into their new form and learn the secret to adapting. Optimus Primal has transformed into a larger and powerful Silverback. They also meet Blackarachnia, a powerful and agile creature who immediately wants to help.

As they try different ways to discover what has happened on Cybertron, they meet an old adversary – Megatron who has also changed. Now they must begin the process of piecing together what they can do to save their planet and stop the Vehicons and their leader!

FINAL WORD: I suppose I should have had a conversation with my sons when they were younger because I can bet they knew about this. I had no idea what this was about at first but it didn’t take me long to be glued in to the storyline. There are new characters and, if I dare say, female characters that are strong and pretty tough.

Hasbro Studios is an iconic brand with some of the best in animation and family programming with MY LITTLE PONY, and LITTLEST PET SHOP. Since its formation in 2009, Hasbro Studios has received seven Daytime Emmy’s!

TUBS OF POPCORN: I give TRANSFORMERS: Beast Machines – The Complete Series four tubs of popcorn out of five. This is 11 hours of a storyline I never knew existed. That makes this DVD even more exciting to watch. I had to find out more about this part of the Transformers!

I really had a good time watching this series and with animation that is different than what I have seen before, I have to say there is something pretty cool about it. The storyline is intense and watching it all unfold is worth every minute of watching.

In the end – enter the world of the Beast Machines!
