On DVD this week from SHOUT! Factory and Hasbro Studios comes the most awesome collection of TRANSFORMERS ANIMATED: The Complete Series.

This six-DVD set tells the story of the Autobots led by the leader Optimus Prime. They are on Earth far from their home and hiding under our very hoods – of cars that is! What brings them to Earth? They are protecting the all powerful All Spark keeping it from the Decepticons.

Optimus leads his group Bulkhead, Prowl, Ratchet and Bumblebee to also protect the Earth and its inhabitants from the Decepticons who will stop at nothing and destroy everything to find the All Spark.

FINAL WORD: Transformers have a history that began in television and has made its way to feature films. Although Bumblebee is my personal favorite, there is no mistaking Optimus Prime or Megatron. Those name have become part of our culture an iconography.

Now reaching a third generation of fans, this set of discs offers younger fans an opportunity to go back to the beginning and experience what brought the Transformers such a huge fan base.

This DVD set includes never before released Season Three. Also, the set has a bonus content that includes: Audio Commentary by writer Marty Isenberg, director Matt Youngberg, Voice Director Susan Blu, voice of Optimus Prime David Kaye and character designer Derrick Wyatt.

Hasbro Studios is an iconic brand with some of the best in animation and family programming with TRANSFORMERS, MY LITTLE PONY, and LITTLEST PET SHOP. Since its formation in 2009, Hasbro Studios has received seven Daytime Emmy’s!

SHOUT! Factory brings the best to fans offering up feature films, classic television series, animation and specials. For more of what they have to offer go to HYPERLINK “http://www.shoutfactory.com” www.shoutfactory.com.

TUBS OF POPCORN: I give TRANSFORMERS ANIMATED: The Complete Series four tubs of popcorn out of five. It is a no-brainer to give the Transformers this score because not only is it a complete series that serves up a proper Saturday morning but the memories as well. My sons use to spend a lot of time watching Transformers so they became a staple of quality television in my home.

All 42 episodes are full of color, a storyline that fans enjoy and characters that have become a staple in homes that love animated shows.

In the end – they are here to protect us all!
