Being released on DVD from SHOUT! FACTORY and Hasbro comes the seven part story arc seamlessly edited together in this presentation TRANSFORMERS PRIME – ONE SHALL STAND.

This film brings the Autobots and Decepticons into an alliance as Unicron comes into play. It is brought about as Unicron has decided to take over Earth. Now, both sides must decide what this will cost.

Optimus has surrendered the Matrix and has lost the collective wisdom of the Primes. The only choice for Optimus is to return to the ‘pre-prime’ state of the Orion Pax. With his confusion, Megatron takes advantage and talks him into joining the Decepticons.

What Optimus and the Autobots don’t know is that their fate is in the hands of a young man named Jack.

FINAL WORD:I have to admit, I truly do enjoy watching cartoons. Especially those that my children who are now in their late 20s still enjoy! Anything to do with TRANSFORMERS and I am ready to get some popcorn and set a side a good chunk of time to have some fun.

The intensity of Optimus and Megatron keep audiences watching and knowing that their hero, Optimus will never be far from doing what is right for the Autobots and for the planet he calls his home.

This is a truly interesting story arc that has been created Hasbro Studios and Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and Jeff Kline as executive producers. Kurtzman and Orci also serve as writers for the feature films TRANSFORMERS and TRANSFORMERS: Revenge of the Fallen.

Knowing that the viewer is brought into a world they already know but also a chance to see how intricate the story of the Transformers is and where it can go in the future.

Other cast voices include: Peter Cullen, Frank Welker, Steve Blum, Jeffrey Combs, Ernie Hudson, Adam Baldwin, Gina Torres, and John Noble.

TUBS OF POPCORN: I give TRANSFORMER PRIME – ONE SHALL STAND three tubs of popcorn out of five. Once again Shout! Factory and Hasbro has brought into homes a story line that is captivating to follow. The CGI and animations is colorful making this set worth owning for kids of all ages.

The DVD also has “A Look Back at ONE SHALL STAND with Jeff Kline, Duane Capizzi and Steven Melching” as well as bonus features of animatics.

In the end – it is an epic tale of deception, sacrifice, loyalty and triumph
