This week from SHOUT! Factory and Hasbro Studios are the next episodes from the iconic “Transformers Robots in Disguise: Mission Discovery!”

Bumblebee, Strongarm, Sideswipe and Grimlock have once again joined Denny and Russell on Earth in an attempt to capture Decepticon prisoners that are hiding out on Earth!

One of the prisoners is Minitron who has a mission from Steeljaw — to get the stasis cell from the Dinobot Underbite. In the process Grimlock mysteriously begins to attack the crew which sends Bumblebee on his own mission to discover why.

If that doesn’t keep Bumblebee busy enough he is chasing Quillfire, a Decepticon with quills that are dangerously toxic. Becoming infected, Bumblebee begins to change into an Autobot that needs some extra attention. Now the group is chasing Quillfire and their leader!

In a cave just outside Crown City, Nightstrike lives in the darkness. A vampire Decepticon, Nightstrike has a sonic scream that strikes fear into Denny and the Autobots when they are captured. Russell now becomes their only hope finding a way to save them all by himself.

Inside Crown City and the subway is Vertebreak, a scientist who steals Sideswipes body for his own evil cause. Bumblebee learns all to quickly that sometimes being a big being isn’t always the answer. They have to find Vertebreak and put Sideswipe back together.

Finally, Denny is having a hard time with Fixit. Trying to do repairs just makes Fixit more and more jittery until Denny starts a program that makes him fully weaponized. Fixit sees the Bee Team and thinks they are Decepticons.

Each episode is definitely a Mission Discovery!

Coming in at 110 minutes, this animated series is another iconic series that fans have come to enjoy time and time again. Of course Bumblebee is my favorite and every year I visit him at San Diego Comic-Con International on the main floor to take my photo with him. Yes, that’s how iconic the “Transformers” characters have become in our culture.

The series represents and celebrates the differences of Earthlings and Machines who form an alliance to protect one another from those who would harm. Forging solid friendships, the story lines continue to favor these values. Filled with action and adventure, the “Transformers” series is generational — just ask my grandson!

Hasbro Studios is an iconic brand with some of the best in animation and family programming with “My Little Pony” and “Littlest Pet Shop.” Since its formation in 2009, Hasbro Studios has received seven Daytime Emmys!

SHOUT! Factory brings the best to fans offering up feature films, classic television series, animation and specials. For more of what they have to offer go to www.shoutfactory.com.

The DVD includes the five episodes True Colors, Adventures in Bumblebee Sitting, Even Robots Have Nightmares, Some Body Any Body and The Trouble with Fixit. The Bonus Feature includes a Toy Featurette which is really cool and informative.

The animation is fantastic and the flow of characters continues to be solid. Owning these episodes means your home entertainment library it high on the coolness level and Bumblebee would agree!

In the end — they are true Robots in Disguise!
