Coming to DVD from Marvel Knights Animation from writer/producer Damon Lindelof and legendary artist Leinil Francis Yu comes the next storyline that is the ULTIMATE WOLVERINE vs. HULK.

This film tells the story of Logan, also known as Wolverine, is asked by Nicky Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D. to take on a mission of importance. Curiosity peaked, Logan is told that he must find and destroy Dr. Bruce Banner, also known as The Hulk. This is a neat trick since most think Banner is already dead.

Without any more explanation needed, Logan picks up the scent and is off to Tibet. Behind the doors of a monastery he finds not Dr. Bruce Banner but The Hulk himself. Before the showdown Logan is told the story of reason behind disturbances that happened worldwide.

Unaffected the battle begins, but just as quickly both men realize something isn’t right. From out of the sky comes Betty, Bruce’s one time love, with news that unsettles them both and has Nick Fury nervous.

Now, they must put aside their battle to refocus on the lies they were both told that got them to this moment.

FINAL WORD: Wow…and that’s an understatement probably. What has been done with this DVD is pure brilliance. Action, intense story line and flash backs that kept dropping my jaw. There isn’t a lull anywhere in the series and it’s such a bonus to be able to watch them all at once (which I absolutely did!)

The DVD includes a five-part storyline, and a bonus feature of brand-new retrospectives looking back at ULTIMATE WOLVERINE VS. HULK. The unique and awesome packaging combines the best of comic books and DVD.

SHOUT! Factory is an amazing company that brings viewers the best of film, animation, and classic television on DVD and Blu-ray. Take a moment to see what they have to offer families who continually like to add to their library at www.shoutfactory.com.

TUBS OF POPCORN: I give ULTIMATE WOLVERINE VS. HULK four tubs of popcorn out of five. This was amazing to watch because the characters are unlike what I have come to know. Not being a comic book reader (leaving that to my sons) and only introduced to these characters through film I was not expecting such definite differences.

I know I’ll probably get slack for this but I think I like this version of these characters much better. They are gritty and smart filled with snappy one-liners and driven emotion. I think it may be time to revisit the comic book store and do some catching up.

For anyone who collects the Marvel Knights Animation works, including the recent WOLVERINE ORIGINS release will be thrilled with this! You can order your copy at www.amazon.com/Marvel-Knights-Ultimate-Wolverine-Hulk and add this to a collection that should be growing with each release.

In the end – getting the job done by any means necessary!
