Check-in begins at 10:00 am, rink activities will take place from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm for beginner players, and from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm for experienced players, both time slots comprised of youth ages 5 through 14. The clinic program, consisting of free skating lessons, fun games, and drills, will coincide with optional in-person registration for TCIHL’s Spring-2015 Season and TCIHL Gear Drive at the same time. During these 2 events, first time skaters will be able to borrow protective gear and equipment at the site for use on a first-come-first-served basis, including brand-new helmets and hockey sticks generously provided by HockeyTron.com.
Tri-City Inline Hockey League’s President, Shane Nakamura, stated: “Our Hockey Clinics this February are two great opportunities for the military kids in our community to come out and try hockey for the first time before the Spring Season begins at TCIHL and for experienced players to hone their skills.”
