When Foster kids turn 18, they’re out on their own.

Not like our own kids, nieces, nephews who get help from family when they go away to college or get their first apartment. These kids are totally on their own. They didn’t get a fair share in life to begin with, and we can help them get started in their new life outside of Foster care. Remember moving into your first apartment? It was both exciting and overwhelming trying to figure out what you’d need and how to get everything. Now imagine doing all this without any support; that is where “Just in Time” steps in! During this season of giving, “My first home for the holidays” helps transitioning foster youth (ages 18-26) turn their empty apartments into comfortable and safe homes.

Your contribution will have a tremendous impact in the life of a former foster youth in San Diego County and it’s tax deductible.
