Keaton Simons to Perform at San Diego Bay Wine and Food Festival’s 10th Anniversary Celebration Presented by Stella Artois

The producers of the San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival are proud to announce Keaton Simons’ selection as one of this year’s featured musical artists. Simons is scheduled to play at the wine and food festival’s Timeless Beauty: The 10th Anniversary Celebration Presented by Stella Artois event. The event takes place the evening of Saturday, November 23, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with Simons opening the event with an acoustic musical set.

“We’re really big fans of Simons’ work,” said event co-producer, Michelle Metter. “Simons’ musical style is exactly what we’re looking for to set the mood at our anniversary party. We are incredibly excited to see what Simons comes up with for his solo acoustic performance. As a seasoned veteran in the singer/songwriter circuit, Simons’ musical set is sure to be a highlight of the Timeless Beauty event.”

A regular at The Hotel Café, Simons has achieved a “cult-like” status in Los Angeles, CA with his authentic voice, compelling and soul-baring songs, and masterful command of acoustic and electric guitars. He has toured nationally and internationally with acts such as Coldplay, Train, and REO Speedwagon. Keaton’s music has also been included on dozens of feature films and prominent television shows, including Sons of Anarchy, Private Practice, NCIS, and Numb3rs. He has also performed on a number of live talk shows, including The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Last Call with Carson Daily, and most recently, The Ellen Degeneres Show this past June.

In addition to Keaton Simons’ live acoustic set, attendees at the food and wine festival’s Timeless Beauty: The 10th Anniversary Celebration will be able to enjoy an intimate perusal of paintings by Official Festival Artist, Thomas Arvid. Guests will have the opportunity to discuss all things creative with this wonderfully talented artist while sipping on bubbly and craft cocktails, interacting with celebrity chefs, and partaking in the Belgian Beer experience.

There will also be a number of celebrity chefs in the spotlight at this event. Chef Katsuya of Daikaya in DC will create bites of Kung Pao Quail and Waffles at the Anniversary Celebration while Chef RJ Cooper of Rogue 24 in DC will prepare his dish of duck liver truffle, black chanterelles, artichoke soup, and parmesan. Chef Aron Schwartz of Marina Kitchen in the San Diego Marriott Marquis & Marina puts his stamp on a gourmet street taco station and Chef Gale Gand and Sponsor Wholesome Sweeteners will create a spread of tantalizing dessert for the evening.

Tickets to this exclusive event are $65.00 per person. To purchase tickets or to view a complete schedule of cooking classes, tasting seminars, and events at this year’s food and wine festival, visit www.sandiegowineclassic.com/events.html.
