Win a Private Suite for San Diego’s PGA Tour

AT&T and Farmers Insurance open to give military member or veteran private suite for Tournament Day

Submissions ask for patriotic selfie for a chance to win $6,000 viewing experience for winner and 19 friends, family

What: Both AT&T and San Diego’s PGA Tour golf tournament, Farmers Insurance Open, have longstanding histories of supporting the United States Armed Forces.  This year AT&T teamed up to provide this exclusive opportunity for our brave men and women in uniform.

Between January 16 and January 31, all current and former members of the United States Armed Forces are encouraged to submit a “patriotic selfie” and/or brief description of why they or someone else who has served or is serving, deserve a once-in-a-lifetime day at the 2015 Farmers Insurance Open.  The winner, chosen at random, will receive their very own Pacific Club suite on Sunday, Feb. 8 at the Farmers Insurance Open.  The Pacific Club is a semi-private venue on the 18th fairway where the winner and 19 of his or her friends and family will be treated to all-inclusive hospitality and phenomenal golf viewing valued at $6,000!

To apply, please visit the Farmers Insurance Open Facebook page.

In November 2013 AT&T announced that it was stepping up its veteran recruiting efforts with the goal of hiring 10,000 veterans and their family members into career opportunities over the next five years, consistent with its commitment to equal employment opportunities. In 2013, AT&T hired nearly five times as many veterans as compared to 2012.

The Farmers Insurance Open is Feb. 5 – 8 and hosted by the Century Club of San Diego, a 501 (c) (3) charitable volunteer organization. Farmers Insurance has pledged at least $175,000 to the 2015 Birdies for Charity program, which benefits 12 selected San Diego charities.

WHEN: Contest open from Jan. 16 – 31.
Winner will be hosted in the Pacific Club by AT&T San Diego on Sunday, Feb. 8, the final tournament day.
