Crescent Electric Supply Company Hosts Military Appreciation Day July 2nd

Crescent Electric Branch in San Marcos, California thanks the Military for their service and economic contribution to San Diego, County.

Crescent Electric Supply Company’s location in San Marcos, California will host a Military Appreciation Day at it’s facility at 295 Hill Drive, San Marcos, California from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 2nd. A BBQ lunch of Hamburgers and Hot Dogs will be provided to attendees and there will be displays by manufacturers to highlight “Made in America” products. Small Business, WBE and DVBE contractors will have tables to highlight the services they provide and thank the Military for the important contribution that Military projects provide to the financial success of their businesses. There will also be a small Job Fair to help Military personnel transition to the private sector with an emphasis on the Electrical and Data Communications industry. A “Terminator Competition” will be held to see who is the fastest at terminating a Category 5E Data Jack accurately. There will be a prize for the winner and giveaways for participants. A Raffle will be held for prizes with tickets going for $1.00 each or 12 for $10.00. All proceeds will be donated to AFCEA, Blue Star Moms and The Wounded Warrior Project.

District Manager, Joel Van Treese said he is looking forward to the event and sees it as one small way to thank the Military for their contribution to Crescent Electric’s success in San Diego. “Almost all of our customers have done work at one or more of the Military Facilities here in the San Diego area and we provide the electrical and data communications supplies they utilize on these jobs. This is just a small way to say, Thank You.”
