Food Pantry on Saturday

Saturday, Feb. 7 at 9 a.m., ACE Lot #12

The Mobile Pantry is a farmer’s market style set-up in ACE Lot #12. The lot is across from the Downtown Center (303 A Street) at the corner of 3rd and A Street. This will be held on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month.

We will now be able to serve 400 families, whereas in the past it was 200.  There will be no need to arrive early, the truck will not be in the ACE Lot #12 until 8:45 a.m. The Mobile Pantry will have fresh produce available as well as staple goods.

The Pantry will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. 

Bring your own bags, wagons, etc.. USO San Diego will not have any bags or boxes available. The Downtown Center will be closed during the Mobile Food Pantry (normal operating hours are from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.). Please note there will be no use of the restrooms.

USO San Diego offers this program to active-duty military personnel and their families. Food will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. If this will be your first time attending, please complete a food pantry participant form prior to your arrival.

To Participate:

  • You will need to show your valid active-duty military ID
  • Military spouses with a valid military ID may also pick up food
  • If parking in the ACE Lot #12, please park on the side closes to 2nd Street. Parking is free in this lot from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. to accommodate those participating in the program.
