The Washboard Laundry, located in the College Area of San Diego, is offering a promotion to assist the men and women providing civil services for their country. Weekday Fluff & Fold services are discounted 30% for all active members of the military. The offer also also extends to additional workers that provide community services, including Police, Firefighters, EMT’s, Teachers and Nurses.

“With more and more troops coming home to San Diego, this is our way of offering support for them and their families, for all they have done for our country,” said Tyler Blair, owner of the Washboard Laundry. “Our Fluff & Fold Service is very popular for people with busy schedules. We thought this would also be a good fit for returning service members, allowing them to spend more time with families and loved ones and less time doing laundry.”

Started in April, 2012, the Fluff & Fold service discount of 30% is available Monday thru Friday from 7:30 am to 8:00 pm. The Washboard Fluff & Fold service is priced per pound and includes soap, bleach if requested and softener along with sort, wash, dry, fold and package; laundry brought in by 10:00 am will be ready for pick-up by 5:00 pm.

The Washboard is clean and bright, it’s been recently remodeled and has a friendly, knowledgable staff. A comfortable, fun, social place, it has the unique Lucky Laundry Game that includes several chances each month to up to $25 in laundry.

Doing laundry at the Washboard is cost effective, with new, eco-friendly, high-efficiency and large capacity machines, including big six-load washers. The Washboard provides free Wi-Fi, study tables and plenty of laptop/cell phone charging stations along with big screen, high-def TV’s.

Loads of free parking is available and regular hours are from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm everyday. Fluff & Fold services are offered weekdays from 7:30 am to 8:00 pm and weekends from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm. Security cameras are on-site for protection and safety with 24 hour video surveillance.
