Escondido Humane Society is featuring “halftime” adoption fees March 16-April 7

March may mean basketball to NCAA fans, but at the Escondido Humane Society it will be a great time to “assist” homeless animals and “score” a new furry family member.

The Humane Society is asking everyone to get off the “bench” and make a “fast break” to its Adoption Center to take advantage of its “halftime” adoption fees March 16 through April 7, when fees for all adult dogs and cats will be half off. Discounted fees are $42.50 for adult dogs and cats (6 months to 7 years) and $27.50 for senior dogs and cats (7 years and older.

“All of our pets want to move on to the next ‘bracket’ and into someone’s heart and home,” said Sally Costello, Executive Director of the Escondido Humane Society. “We’re working ‘overtime’ and putting on the ‘full-court press’ to help them get ‘home court advantage.’”

All adoption fees include spay/neuter; microchip with lifetime registration; up-to-date vaccinations; veterinary exam at EHS; wellness exam after adoption; sample bag of food; discounts at local pet supply, grooming and boarding partners; and behavior support for dogs and cats for lifetime of animal.

The Escondido Humane Society Adoption Center, 3450 E. Valley Parkway, is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week. For information, call (760) 888-2247 or log on to www.escondidohumanesociety.org.
