Golden Globe fashion recap

I used to love watching all kinds of award shows, but now I only like watching for the fashion, the opening monologs and the last hour for the awards that I’m interested in. The Golden Globe awards never proves to be too boring because there are always surprises in the winners, the hosts are usually generally entertaining and the fashions are pretty fabulous.

Some of the winners this year included first time nominees, first season shows and some seasoned veterans that we know and love. Below is a partial list of winners:

If you’re a fan of my blog, you know that I love old Hollywood glamour and a lot of last night’s fashions were paying homage to that era as well. There were lots of beautiful, elegant looks that I was swooning over but of course there were a few that stood out more than others and they are pictured below:

Oscar winner Jamie Foxx’s daughter, Corinne, was Miss Golden Globe. She was the beautiful young lady handing out all the winning statues; she too looked gorgeous and did a great job. Below is a very funny video that Jamie and Corinne did to prepare her for the show, a spoof from the movies “Creed” and “Rocky.”

Until next time my Veteran Fashionistas, as always, stay fashionable!
