I’m sure you’ve bought your spouse some article of clothing and given it as a gift.

Maybe you put a lot of time and effort into it; maybe not. It’s really impossible for your spouse to know. After all, you could have just bought the first shirt you saw.

This week I want you to buy your spouse an entire OUTFIT. Now that takes time. That takes thought. And your spouse will know it.

What do I mean by an outfit?
In other words, instead of just buying a shirt or a blouse, get a pair of matching pants or a skirt, socks, a jacket or a sweater, a belt, and don’t forget lingerie or undergarments. Put a whole outfit together! And of course, try to include their favorite color and designer.

If you need help, go to a store that offers customer service. You can do this regardless of your budget. If you have money to spend, then go all out. If not, you can get a great matching outfit for your spouse at a discount store for less than $100.

Did you ever get a whole outfit as a gift? It really feels like ‘WOW,’ this is a lot. This took time. This was thoughtful. And when you wear it all together you feel enveloped by the person who bought the outfit for you. In fact, you might include a note with you gift to that effect:
“Honey, I’ve got you covered.”
“For when you want me head to toe.”
“I love being around you.”
Have fun with this one and happy shopping.
