Are you ready to “go green” at the annual “I Love A Clean Alpine” Earth Day celebration on Saturday, April 13, in the foothills?

Free recycling of electronics, small appliances and tires as well as document shredding draws a steady stream of people every year from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to the Albertsons parking lot at 2955 Alpine Blvd. in Alpine. Vendors are welcome.

Presented by the Alpine Mountain Empire Chamber of Commerce, “I Love A Clean Alpine” also has a household battery drop-off and a place to leave gently used clothing for Goodwill Industries. While supplies last, there will be free trees and reusable grocery bags.

To be an “I Love A Clean Alpine” vendor or to learn more about the event, phone (619) 445-2722 or visit www.alpinechamber.com.
